How to Join Us

If you need an FBR number and if you joined the NFU-O previously through Agricorp, you need to take three steps.

  1. Direct your payment to either the CFFO or OFA and send your payment to Agricorp.
  2. Request a refund from either the CFFO or the OFA. In order to receive a refund, you must make a request in writing by mail, fax or email, prior to May 31. You will not lose your FBR number by asking for a refund. Please include your FBR number on all correspondence. Click here to download a sample refund letter.
  3. Send your NFU-O membership fee to the NFU-O as soon as possible. Your membership fees are needed to help the NFU in Ontario to carry out its normal activities. You do not have to wait for a refund to send your payment ($220.35) to the NFU-O at 5420 Hwy 6N, RR 5, Guelph, ON N1H 6J2.
  • Cheques are payable to the National Farmers Union – Ontario
  • Visa and MasterCard numbers can be phoned in to Sarah Bakker, Regional Office Administrator at 1-888-832-9638

If you join the NFU-O as a family farm membership and do NOT need a Farm Business Registration number:

  1. You will receive a renewal notice the month your membership is due. If you are a new member, click here to download a membership form.
  2. When you receive the notice, please send your payment ($220.35) to the NFU-O at 5420 Hwy 6N, RR 5, Guelph, ON N1H 6J2.
  • Cheques are payable to the National Farmers Union – Ontario
  • Visa and MasterCard numbers can be phoned in to Sarah Bakker, Regional Office Administrator at 888-832-9638 or faxed to 705-738-3993 (call first).

Once your membership payment has been processed, you will receive a membership card, receipt and welcome letter in the mail.

To become a member of the NFU-O, the fees are as follows:

Farm Member – $220.35 including HST
